  My fav Oz albums are easily "No Rest for the Wicked" and "Ozmosis".

  what is the official JW view on bible students?

  while visiting some bible students sites, i wondered what the official jw view on these organizations is.

  are they part of babylon the great simply because of refuting the post-1916 developments and the governing body?

  as far as i know, they do not adhere to any of the false teachings jw like to refer to in debunking the rcc and traditional protestantism, such as hellfire, trinity, immortal soul.

  The pompous Watchtower corporation still brands the Bible Students who went their separate way as the "evil slave class". More specifically, it was J R Rutherford who dreamed up that one. Yes, EVIL EVIL EVIL for not following Joseph Rutherford.

  in detroit yesterday, the story broke that the mayor, kwame kilratick, the hip-hop king himself, was under investigation for his alleged purgery in a wrongful discharge lawsuit.

  it seems that he fired 2 police officers because of their diligence in investigating his after ours activities at the mayoral mansion.

  in his sworn testimony last year, he swore under oath that he did not have any sort of romantic or intimate affair with his chief of staff.

  Oh lordy, another person swept up in some of the nonsense & common misbeliefs largely popularised by the da Vinci Code. If you really think Jesus married Mary Magdelene or that the gnostic gospels are on a par with the canonical gospels, all I can say is you really need to go back and do some a heck lot more real research of reputable scholarship (and by research I don't mean reading pulp websites).

  hey guys, just thought i would post.. i try not to let it get to me, but i'm soo sad right now b/c i can't believe my own family won't talk to me b/c i am not a witness!!

  i was always there for them, was the daughter, friend, sister etc.

  they needed me to be and now - nothing.

  Find a nice man, fall in love, get married, have some beautiful children, and fill your universe with love and joy, and forget about your 'blood' family who have been quick to forget about you. Don't introvert and look back....focus your energies outwards, towards other human beings who need your compassion and kindness and love. You will very quickly forget your mean-hearted, phoney-Christian relatives.
